WARRANTY

The consumer’s proof of purchase must accompany all claims. CCM reserves the right to repair or replace, at our option, any product determined to be defective. CCM will warrant products that have been repaired, provided the repairs were performed at its factory or at an authorized repair depot. If, in CCM’s determination, product failure is due to accident, abuse, negligence or abnormal use, the product will not be covered by this or any other warranty. This warranty is expressly declared to be given in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied on CCM’s part. No person is authorized to give an additional warranty in connection with the sale of CCM products. Professional, NHL, CHL, ECHL, USHL, AHL and university or college team sales are excluded from this warranty.

STICKS

OPS Sticks and Composite Shafts (Player and Goalie) are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of sale to the consumer when used as intended under normal use and without alterations. Please note that we require a picture of the serial number in order to process all stick claims. We suggest keeping a record of the serial # with your receipt.

SKATES

Skates are warranted against manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of sale to the consumer when used as intended under normal use and alterations.

90 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE - ENDING APRIL 1, 2023. WILL REVERT TO 90 WARRANTY POLICY.

HELMETS

Helmets are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when used as intended under normal use and without alterations.

FACEMASKS

Facemasks are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase when used as intended under normal use and without alterations. If the cage is bent or dented it is not covered under this warranty.

GOALIE MASKS

Goalie Masks are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for a period of one (1) year. The cage is warranted to be free from manufacturing defects and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days. If the cage is bent or dented it is not covered under this warranty.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

Protective Equipment (Player and Goalie) are warranted against manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of sale to the consumer when used as intended under normal use and without alterations.

GOALIE PADS, BLOCKERS & CATCHERSARE

Goalie Pads, Blockers & Catchersare warranted against manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of sale to the consumer when used as intended under normal use and without alterations.

BAGS

Bags are warranted against manufacturing defects and workmanship under normal use and maintenance for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of sale to the consumer when used as intended under normal use and without alterations.

APPAREL

Color Fastness: CCM does not guarantee color fastness because CCM cannot control the methods by which the fabrics are cleaned as well as other conditions under which the fabric might be subjected.

Cresting: The fabric in all CCM jerseys is engineered to withstand usual cresting methods with minimum shrinkage (5% to 6%). If a heat tunnel or heat transfer machine is used, the temperature should not exceed 165°C (325°F). If a heat tunnel is used, the time from entrance to exit should not exceed 2-1/2 minutes or excessive shrinkage may occur. CCM assumes no liability for excessive shrinkage in cresting.

PRODUCT RECALL: CCM HOCKEY NECK GUARD SHIRT - MODEL NO. NGSHIRT 3484, SIZE: SENIOR

We have noticed that the neck guard Model No. NGSHIRT PO No. 3484 (inside the shirt next to the washing instructions), which has been sold between 18 November 2019 and 10 December 2019, has a manufacturing defect.

The neck guard of the shirt should be 65 mm high but the neck guard on the shirt to be recalled is 48-50 mm high, which can lead to serious personal injury as the neck guard may not provide adequate protection in the event of an accident. The neck guard of the shirt also does not meet the requirements set for it.

If you own the neck guard shirt to be recalled, we would ask you to check its PO number 3484, which is placed on the product as shown in the picture.

The recalled neck guard shirts have the product number of NGSHIRT (2587179, 2587180, 2587181, 2587182 and 2587183) and they have been sold at the following retail stores:

If you have purchased a neck guard shirt to be recalled, we kindly ask you to stop using it immediately and return it to the retailer from whom it was purchased for a replacement with a new neck guard shirt or for a full refund of the purchase price.
